School Closed

After over 100 years, the doors of Fifteenth Avenue School officially closed on June 28, 2011. Students and staff were relocated to neighboring South Seventeenth Street School and Ivy Hill Elementary. The school building now houses a charter school.

Welcome back to another school year here at Fifteenth Avenue School. We have new staff members and a new Principal, Ms. Kalina. Let's make this school year the year of the tigers!

Spring Concert

The Spring Concert will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 1:30 pm.

Kindergarten Moving Up-Ceremony

The Kindergarten moving-up ceremony will be held on Friday, June 25, 2010.

Resume Writing Workshop

There will be a Resume Writing Workshop on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 and Friday, May 28, 2010 starting at 2:00 PM in the Computer Lab. All parents and community members are invited to attend.

NPS Film Festival -May 26, 2010

Fifteenth Avenue school is a participant in the 7th Annual Newark Public Schools Film Festival. The festival will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 6-9 PM at the Newark Screens Threatre. All are invited to attend.
